World's No.1 Worst Network :Cordia ip

This Cordiaip is worst than the worst. If you want to make a connection with this, is simply wasting your money and most of the times you will call from another network. So you are paying double instead of single. There are so many good Companies than this. I strongly suggest don't use this super worst network. I have no words to explain how disgusting is. You have to find new words for criticizing. I will give -10 rating for this. You no need to pay them for month, Infact they should give money. That much of headache they will create. So folks, Do not go with this network at all..............

Cordia communications

They called me telling me about service i can get as an offer for copper wire customer with Verizon and that they would receive the bill from Verizon for the wholesale price of my services they never even mentioned Cordia's name and just said they were calling on behalf of verizon with these offers. Now the thing is that i work from home taking inbound calls for a company so if i cant dial into work i cant get paid and so i wake up in the morning about a week later and i cant make outgoing calls i call Verizon and they tellme my number is being ported out to another company and that they cant do anything to stop it so i call Cordia which is the name i got from the lady who made me the offer at the end of the call after i had already agreed to everything as the company verizon would be billing. And they tell me they cannot do anything about not being able to call out because port in request is still not done but one of there trouble shooting steps is to go to my phone line box outside my house with a corded phone and plug it to that and see what happens because if they send a technician out to my house and theres nothing wrong i get charged a misdirection fee or something like that of 140.00 dollars, on top of that the few agents i spoke to would be rude and place me on hold for ten minutes a piece only one of them was proffessional and patient with my frustration... So in the end just tell Cordia no way Jose keep your cheaper service!

I can't believe Cordia is still fulling people and messing with their lives. Why hasn't the FCC stepped in with all these complains.

We complained about them in 2005 and still nothing. Isn't there a Consumer Protection Act that protects us from these types of companies?

Home phone does not work

I tried to use my phone and got a message that it is unavailable. I know my bill is paid, I checked my bank and seen where your check for payment had cleared. Not sure of another way to inform you of this problem. Phone # 607 698-**** email kbq1947@***.com. Thank you for your assistance. I need my phone to make contacts to friends and family. If my service continues to be interrupted my only recoarse will be to change carriers. I was disatisfied with Verizon is why I changed to your company, I don't like changes,

Cordia Communications made misleading telemarketing call

I just got a telemarketing call from Cordia Communications. Not that they identified themselves. They said they were calling about my Verizon bill, and claimed that next month, my bill would be lower. They mentioned an amount I currently pay for regular home phone service, and when I told him that the amount he had was wrong, I asked him if he was calling from Verizon. Only then did he mention that he was with another company. He kept going on his spiel, and I asked for the company name again and the company web site. After listening to him politely (I hate telemarketing, but I recognize that this is just his job, and try not to be rude) I told him that I would investigate this further on their website, and to please remove my name from further calling lists, as I never agree to any changes over the phone. At this point he hung up on me while I was mid-sentence, which I thought rather rude after I had been polite to him. I went to find the website, and discovered that he'd given me an incorrect web address. A google search showed me why he gave up: All I found were articles about their bankruptcy and complaints from dissatisfied customers. I will certainly NOT be switching to their phone service.

These Company is a fake Company...called my mom who is a senior messed up her Verizon Bill..told them if they dont switch back..I will sue the *** out of them..Who the *** is this company...Consumers really need to look into this and stop them..I told them I will Call the nearest Television Station.Cordia Communications..YEAH...RIGHT

I Do Not recommend Cordia

Cordia communications takes a long time to answer the customer service line and takes even longer to fix your phone line when it isn't working. Who can go days without phone service? I called on Saturday. After waiting on hold for over 10 minutes I am told someone will be out on Monday. On Monday, Cordia communications told me they would be fixing my line either Monday or Tuesday. On Tuesday they told be before seven o'clock. It is eight o'clock now and no sign of anyone to help me fix my phone. I do not recommend this company on the pure fact that their customer service rates a 1 out of 10.

Switched mother's phone service w/o auth.

My mother is 81 years old, lives alone and has a medical condition whereby for her safety, she has a medical alert necklace which needs an active phone line in order to work. A few months ago, she started getting bills from Cordia Comm. Not knowing what they were, she did not pay them. I found out and she paid the bill in full. Even so, they shut her phone service off two days ago. I called on her behalf and was told, yes the account was current, and service would be restored in 24 hours, That was over 38 hours ago. My sister called twice today - I called twice today too 7-1-11. Now we were told 48 hours and perhaps not until after the holiday weekend. My sister and I both explained this is a matter of someone's life. We asked to speak to a supervisor and were hung up on. I also asked more than once to hear the tape proving my mother switched carriers. They did not provide it, we are now pursuing legal action, notifying the FCC, the Attorney General, etc, This is a prime example of what certainly appears to be fraudulent and predatory tactics by a twisted company who obviously has no ethics, integrity and is capable of putting and elderly woman in jeopardy of a medical crisis and/or death as a result of their behavior.

I literally just hung up with them! They called and asked about my Verizon service and said they were reducing it to $29 a month, maintaining my current package.

I was a little intrigued because Verizon NEVER reduces your bill - they never identified themselves as Cordia. I said to the woman, I'm surprised you are calling me because Verizon is on strike and are you management. She didn't answer me. My husband works for Verizon and is working 12 hour shifts.

She continued to talk about how I shouldn't be paying so much money for telephone service, thanked me for my time and at the very end of the call said something about Cordia Communications (she was VERY hard to understand! I said HOLD ON - you didn't identify yourself as CORDIA and you cannot change my phone service. My husband works for Verizon and we need that line. You may call back tomorrow to talk to him, but DO NOT change our service!

Thanks and goodbye, she said she would call tomorrow. UNBELIEVABLE!!

Cordia Communications keep calling my house phone and hanging.

This company is disgusting. I did not know they existed until they started calling our house phone and hanging up. These reps have no life because they were calling 7 times a day harassing us and we do not have any service with them. When I called back to talk to someone the representatives would not give out their name. They quickly hung up the phone. It is so sad. What kind of company is this that harasses people by calling and hanging up the phone. Something needs to be done about what is going on with this company. The BBB will hear of this.

Cordia overcharged me and will not refund my money

I signed up with Cordia in November 2010, because they told me they were an authorized reseller for Verizon, and dropped them after a few months because they kept messing up my billing.My last billing statement from Cordia was in 5/2011, and it informed me that they owe me $75.31. When I called to speak to a customer service representative, they "took" my information and stated they would forward it to the billing department for the issuance of a refund. I called back weekly, got the same result. So I wrote a letter of inquiry that was never responded to. Now I found that Cordia has filed bankruptcy, and I have to file forms to get my refund. Here is the kicker: Cordia continues to operate as though they were solvent. How many more unsuspecting customers will get caught up in this web of deceit? Avoid "resellers" such as Cordia.

I have never done business with Cordia, but have been receiving calls at least twice a day trying to get me to sign up. Told them I wasn't interested and CSR asked, "what are you not interested in", and so I said I wasn't interested in doing business with your company and I hung up.

As soon as I hung up the phone I then received four calls back-to-back from them (I did not answer the phone). From this experience, I would NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH A BULLY!

Cordia Phone Company-charges fees for wire maintenance then doesn't have that can come to your area!

For those of you that are paying wire maintenance fees to Cordia-good luck. I have been having trouble with my phone lines since Feb. They sent someone out to check my outside lines and when I needed the lines inside the house to be checked-they couldn't do that. I was told that they don't have anyone in my area to come out to check inside lines. I was then told that I could call someone locally for about 150.00 and after I get a receipt, I can send it to them and they will send me that money back. Not sure how this is legal.

Cordia IP - VOIP Phone-The WORST service ever

I came to US 6 months back and was searching for the best internet phone to call outside US. Then got to know about this thru my friend that it will be charged only $19 per month and unlimited calling to number of countries and unlimited time. Initially for the first one month it worked fine. Then the problem started. My Connection was initially terminated and when I've contacted the customer care people no one responded. After few days when I spoke to one of the customer care guys, got to know that my connection has been terminated because of over usage. While taking the connection they clearly mentioned that its unlimited calling. Also, after couple of months, I was not able to call to most of the mobile numbers. Customer care told me that the reason being they will allow only nine (9) mobile number as a list, which I can dial in every month which they did not tell at all while taking connection. When ever you try calling an international number it will give u a message that the lines are maintenance. I dont understand what the *** maintenance they do all the time for the network that does not work at all. I will not suggest/recommend this to any of my friends and rather to any one I talk to. Again, this is worst of any kind of service that i've taken.

I had their service from long time, suddenly one day it stopped working, tried calling customer care nobody would not pick up, 1 day, 2 days, 3 days passed, had to call my home, went on their site, was not working, mailed them did not get any reply, waited for some more days well the same result.

Finally called up wells fargo bank in which i have my account and asked them to cancel the auto-pay plan. Till now i have been receiving their invoices so called up the customer service did talk to a guy who was the manager of that shift as he said, he was so rude did know how to even solve the doubt or did not even bother to enquire about what i explained him about the thing happened.

the next day he said he did not want the service so I called and canceled although I had to wait a horrifically long time to do so. Then I called back to make sure that the service was canceled after that I got a phone bill for $47.53 on this phone service that I didn't even use on a phone line that was not mine. It has been two years and I still haven't gotten rid of these people trying to bill me for something that .

YOU CAN CANCEL THEM ALL DAY LONG BUT THEY WILL STILL BILL YOU THESE PEOPLE ARE CROOKS. I would just pay it but to me its the principle of the matter plus how do I know after the way that they have handled business that they won't just charge me again taking the payment as me saying that they were right and I wanted this phone service payment on a phone line that's not mine?

My elderly parents have been out for 3 days now and live alone in the country. They continue to blame it on someone else and cannot give me a way to escalate it.

They will escalate it, so they say. Put me on hold for over 15 minutes several time, don't return my calls or call to inform me of status and each time I call I have the exact same conversation with them as if I never called in the first place.

Believe me, I have never seen such poor service. At least act like you are trying to help...

Cordia IP is the worst service. There lines are under maintenance for more than 15 day in a month. Most of the time the prompt says they are unable to connect the call..

I switched over my business line to them and since the service was switched over, my problems started. From incorrect billing where they promised it included VM then were charging an extra $12 for that, from my line being down for over a week where i Lost business opportunity.

To get a credit for the week down was like making a child eat vegetables, i had to convince them as to why they owed me the credit. It took over 2 billing period for them to apply it. Then finally Verizon contacted me to switch back and gave me a better deal. So i disconnected with Cordia.

I called them to let them know, but they still kept billing me. I called them, faxed over my Verizon bill proving that my service was with Verizon for the billing period they had billed me for and nothing. Finally i had to submit a complaint with the BBB to get this resolved. It's still pending, but i've wasted my time, lost business with them so I really don't recommend any businesses to switch over to them because you will loose Money with them not having a stable phone line and overbilling.

The headache to get rid of them was like having a tick stuck to you. I agree Worst company ever...

Cordia Phone Company Filed for Bankruptcy

Looking for business or residential phone service? Forget Cordia. We had a business account with them. We decided to go with another company for a lower monthly bill. They owed us a $53 refund. 1st step, "It will arrive in one month. 2nd step (Joseph # 5970,) "We are waiting for the approval." 3rd step, Give me your senior manager. 4th step (Winston, senior manager,) "I will pass this on personally to someone I know in the billing dept. The check will go out on Friday." 5th step (no name,) NOTICE OF CHAPTER 11 BANKRUPTCY FILING APPEARS IN MY MAILBOX. Step 6, "We are waiting for approval from the corporate office." Step 7, I call corporate and dial zero, "that extension is not available." Final Step, Spread the word on Pissed Consumer. "Dear Cordia, You have a wonderful day, too!"

Cordia Communications are terrible, and they dont even care!!!!

My wife received a phone call from Cordia and was asked if she would like to swap our Long Distance to them. They had a whole line of how great it was, that their bill for long distance would be on my current providers bill. My wife accepted. After 1 month the phone service was cut off. I called our carrier (Verizon) and was told that Cordia had completelY taken over the phone number and it no longer belonged to Verizon. I called Cordia( what a disgusting experience). I was told what i needed to do to restore service. I complied while on the phone with them and satisfied their requests. They told me it would be 2-3- Business days to turn it back on. I explained to them that there is a very ill person in the home and could this please be expediated? No way to do that she says smugly. I start to talk again and she cuts me off, says it will be on when its on and then she hung up on me. These are the rudest customer service providers i have ever dealy with. The business acumen is totally non existent. What ever happened to the customer is always right?Needless to say we will never use their company again. I would not recommend them to my neighbors dog!!!!

I agree with your post. I too had the Unlimited plan.

Cordiaip kept changing the rules without informing.

I was not informed about the 20 unique numbers, when asked why I am not able to make calls, that when they are telling me that you can only make calls to 20 numbers in a month. I WILL NOT RECOMMENDED ANYBODY...

Cordia Phone Solicitations

For the last month I have been receiving telemarketing phone calls from this rip-off company. Every day, 3x a day. When will they stop. I told them to stop and still they call. I am on a no-call listing for solicitors yet they still call. Time for the FCC to step in and fine them big $$$ for their bogus services. They are a pesky nuisance, just like a fly. They refuse to leave a message on my answering machine. Cordia is making me very pissed off and I am considering taking legal action if this company continues calling me.
